Submissions are being taken for Karting Australia’s 2025 Photo of the Year Award. The award recognises the photographers who capture the sport’s most dynamic, emotional and memorable moments.
“This initiative celebrates the artistry and storytelling that bring karting to life and supports Karting Australia’s ongoing commitment to elevating the visibility and professionalism of the sport” a KA statement read.
Judging will be held across four categories:
- Action Photo of the Year
- Emotional Photo of the Year
- Photo of the Year (non-AKC Events)
- Photo of the Year (AKC Events)
Some points to note:
- Photographers who have attended four or more rounds of the Australian Kart Championship are ineligible to submit images in the non-AKC category.
- Accredited photographers may submit up to three images per category, with all photos required to have been taken at a Karting Australia-sanctioned event during 2025.
- Each nomination must be submitted through the link below and include a high-resolution image and short description outlining the context behind the moment captured.
A panel of industry experts, media representatives and Karting Australia management will assess the entries, with winners announced at the Karting Australia Annual Honours and Awards Ceremony on Saturday February 7 alongside the Building Better Kart Clubs Conference at the Crowne Plaza Mawson Lakes (South Australia).
