Thirteen-year-old KA3 competitor James Flynn has completed his first season of the Japanese G1 Drifting Championship.
After two seasons in the Ebisu Drift Series Challenge, James made the big step to G1 for 2025.
The final round on 14th November saw 80 drivers entered from 14 countries all battling it out for the 32 qualifying spots. Driving his 300hp turbocharged Toyota 86, James qualified in 22nd place and battled drivers from Norway, Brazil, and America to finish in 7th place overall for the round. James finished in 4th place for the series championship – losing out to third by 1 point!
The youngest competitor in G1 Grand Prix history, and still too young to compete in Australia, James will return to Japan next season with his sights set on winning the G1 Championship.
