THEFT CANCELS MEETING – A 40-lap junior feature event at Wagin (WA) was not able to be run recently because some pr*ck nicked the water truck, drained the water tanks and stole various other items required to run race meetings. The Great Southern Kart Club expressed great disappointment with the situation. “We arrived and found the machinery shed has been robbed. The water truck, ute, quad and fuel are gone. They have also drained all our water tanks. We are unable to operate and have the police at the property… trying to figure things out. Sorry to disappoint everyone, but we are gutted.” The event will be rescheduled, but meantime nomination fees will be reimbursed.
