AKC Dates for 2026

Karting Australia has announced the dates – but not yet the venues – for next year’s SP Tools Australian Kart Championship.

Interestingly, the class structure remains the same – ie, no standalone Masters category. The Championship will be contested over five rounds.

DATES CONFIRMED FOR 2026 AUSTRALIAN KART CHAMPIONSHIP

Karting Australia is pleased to confirm the dates for the 2026 Australian Kart Championship, setting the stage for another exciting season of top-level competition across the nation.

The five-round Championship will once again bring together the best kart racers from Australia and overseas, with the country’s premier drivers battling it out across multiple classes for the honour of being crowned Australian Champion.

The 2026 Championship is scheduled to be contested on the following dates*:

  • Round 1: March 20-22
  • Round 2: May 15-17
  • Round 3: July 3-5
  • Round 4: September 4-6
  • Round 5: October 16-18

The Classes to be contested in the 2026 Championship will remain unchanged from 2025, with eight categories to feature: KZ2, KA2, X30, TaG 125, KA3 Senior, KA3 Junior, Cadet 12, and Cadet 9.

Venue announcements for each round of the 2026 Australian Kart Championship will be made in the coming weeks.
