150 entries were chasing State Cup glory last weekend as Bundaberg Kart Club hosted the KC DC Cleaning Queensland State Cup at Dromeside Raceway.
It was a fabulous meeting as drivers aimed to earn one of the great trophies and maroon plate. Friday was practice to get the karts set up, then qualifying and three heats on Saturday with the pre-finals and finals on Sunday.
It was near perfect conditions for racing all weekend, meaning close, exciting racing.
The tyre draws for each class were thanks to Karting Australia. Supercars driver Todd Hazelwood was on hand to help with the presentation ceremony.
