Sprint/Enduro Double-Header

Auskart Racing at Warwick Kart Club had 147 entries for the sprint races on Saturday (SEQ Series round 4) and then the Enduros on Sunday (Endurance Series round 3), in which I also competed with my team mate Alan Lippiatt in the Senior Medium class.

There was some fabulous racing from all classes during the sprint races and the excitement did not stop with the enduros once again providing some excellent racing. A couple of full course yellows added spice as usual and with multiple classes on track at the same time, I can confirm again that during the entire two hours you’re either passing karts or being passed – needing eyes in the back of your head is real!

From the club – “Despite the week starting off with heavy rain, the weather Gods came to the party just in time for the racing. Friday’s practice day was a huge success, setting the stage for an action-packed weekend. Saturday saw the SEQ Championship RND 4 sprint race, which was filled with incredible displays of sportsmanship throughout the day.
