James Anagnostiadis has held on to the lead of the Champions Of The Future Academy Program series after an action-packed round at Franciacorta, Italy, on the weekend.
The former-Melbournian qualified fastest in the OK-N Junior class and won the heats on Saturday, but faded to 6th in the Final. He qualified third on Sunday and went on to win Sunday’s Final.
After three of the six rounds, James continues to lead the series on 377 points over South Africa’s William Marshall (308) and Poland’s Kacper Rajpold (282).
Two Australians contested 60Mini while three waved the flag in OK-N Senior. Pip Casabene showed the most promise, running in the top ten, but did not finish either of the finals.
