A number of Australian kart clubs have changed, or announced intention to change, their affiliation.
Most recently, the Wagga & District Kart Racing Club announced its intention to reaffiliate with Karting Australia (see below). The club has been with Karting NSW since the breakaway and will remain under the KNSW banner for another three months before officially changing.
Meanwhile, Rockhampton and Mackay kart clubs joined the Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA) as of the first of May 2024.
“Both clubs will have the same licenses as Geelong and Southern Mallee (and) will run their race meetings under AASA permits” Geelong’s Dominic Albanese informed KartSportNews.

“We look forward to a AASA Queensland State Championship taking place in the future.”
