As IKD continues to re-build the Rotax brand in Australia, the organisation has confirmed that, after much consideration, there will be no Mini MAX class offered at the Rotax National Cup for 2024.
“With no regular racing currently for Mini Max in Australia, we do not qualify for a Grand Finals ticket, so with all things considered, we have decided to put Mini Max on hold for the foreseeable future” IKD explained.
“IKD is committed to rebuilding the Rotax brand and the first stages of this plan focus heavily on Junior Max and Senior Max classes along with increased opportunities for DD2 racing.

Australia will get to send four drivers to the World Final via the Rotax National Cup qualifying event at Ipswich in August.
