Carnival of Karts

from Kerry Foster, TKC

The weather turned it on for the Carnival of Karts and Round 3 of the WA State Karting Series at Wanneroo International Kartway in Neerabup. Over 170 drivers put on some great racing over the two-day event hosted by Tiger Kart Club on April 6th and 7th.

Qualifying got under way Saturday morning with the circuit at its best, drivers constantly swapping positions to claim the top spot for the first 2 heats. Points then set the position for the final grid with a dead man’s final determining the result.
