Ipswich City Dirt Kart Club’s 2024 Championship round 1 was a very interesting event. The club managed to get through and call the event complete after rain delays and then a torrential downpour brought an end to racing just two heats from the end of the 4th heats.

A massive 110 entries attended the Willowbank circuit and there were so many 125cc two-stroke entries they had to be split into two groups.
I was even surprised with an appreciation award which really did almost get me speechless!
