RIP Dana Wyhoon – KartSportNews

Dana Wyhoon, valued member of the Gippsland Go Kart Club and mother of junior kart racer Ryan, has passed away.

Dana suffered a debilitating stroke on December 20, from which she never recovered. She lost her battle with the condition on Monday, Feb 19.

She was actively involved in running race days at Morwell, only missing them if there was a date clash with a Supercars race meeting the family’s Image Racing team was contesting.

“GGKC is saddened about the recent passing of our valued friend, official and club member Dana Wyhoon” the Gippsland club posted on social media. “She will be missed by all at the club.”

KartSportNews extends condolences to son Ryan, husband Terry, the Rowe family and Dana’s many friends and relatives. You will be sorely missed.
