KZ karts competing in FIA Karting Championships and Cups competitions will be equipped with CIK-FIA homologated Dunlop tyres in the 2024 season.
The slick tyres to be used will be of the newly homologated “Option” range, named DH H, in the following sizes: 10×4.50-5 (front) and 11-7.10-5 (rear). The ‘wet weather’ tyres will be the KT14 W15, in the following sizes: 10×4.50-5 (front) and 11-6.50-5 (rear).
Anderson CSK will be responsible for supplying tyres, both at the FIA Karting Championship venues and in advance of the events, to provide tyres for the teams’ private tests.
KZ karts are CIK-FIA homologated 125cc karts with gearbox. Although they share similar technical regulations, KZ karts are divided into three different categories in the competitions set up by the FIA, depending on the level and age of the drivers.
The top category is KZ and is entitled to an FIA Karting World Championship, which is traditionally contested over a single event at the end of the season, after a first part of the season devoted to the European Championship.

KZ2 has a World Cup and a European Championship. The recently created KZ2 Masters is reserved for drivers aged 35 and over. Following on from the success of the International Masters Super Cup, which attracted a full house in 2023, a two-competition European Championship will be inaugurated in 2024 for this age group.
Entries for the FIA Karting European Championships in KZ, KZ2 and KZ Masters will be open from 2 April 2024. Entry applications for the FIA Karting World Championship – KZ, the FIA Karting World Cup – KZ2 and the FIA Karting International Masters Super Cup – KZ2 will be accepted from 15 July 2024.
