Aussies in Asia MAX

Current and former Ipswich Kart Club Presidents, Scott Cleveland and Scott Howard will be travelling to Malaysia to contest the Rotax Max Challenge Asia Festival in DD2 Masters on the 26th to 28th January.

Howard departed on Wednesday night to also contest Round 1 of the Asia Rotax Trophy this weekend as a lead in to the Rotax Max Challenge Asia Festival the following weekend.

Howard plans to contest the entire Asia Rotax Trophy Series over 6 Rounds throughout 2024.

Cleveland will join him for the Rotax Max Challenge Asia Festival and both will be driving for RL Karting using the BirelArt chassis. For Cleveland this will be his international racing debut.

Joining Howard this weekend as his mechanic for the Asia Rotax Trophy Round will be Jon Targett, whilst the following weekend Troy Bretherton will mechanic for Howard and Oscar Targett will mechanic for Cleveland at the Rotax Max Challenge Asia Festival.

Increasing the Australian contingent at the Rotax Max Challenge Asia Festival and completing a four-person Team Australia lineup will be the Singh brothers racing in Mini Max.
