IKC Busy in 2024

Ipswich Kart Club has confirmed its 2024 race dates, which will include the 2024 Queensland Kart Championships in late June, the Rotax National Cup event in mid August and eight Club Championship Rounds.

The season will start with Round 1 of the Club Championship (IKC Cadet Titles) on Saturday the 3rd of February, followed by Round 2 (IKC TAG Titles) on Saturday the 2nd of March. This Round will also be a Round of the 4SS City/Country Series. Round 3 (IKC Rotax Titles) will be on Saturday the 6th of April and then Round 4 (IKC TAG Restricted Titles) will be on Saturday the 4th of May.

The Queensland State Championships will then follow on Friday the 28th, Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th of June and will conveniently sit between the Emerald and Coffs Harbour AKC Rounds.

The IKC Club Championship will then recommence in the 2nd half of the year with Round 5 on Saturday the 3rd of August. August will be a busy month at IKC, with the Rotax National Cup being held on Friday the 16th, Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th of August. Round 6 (IKC 4SS Titles) of the IKC Championship will then be held on Saturday the 31st of August and will again be a Round of the 4SS City/Country Series.

The season will then finish off with Round 7 (IKC KA100 Titles) on Saturday the 5th of October, followed by Round 8 (Capri Cup) on Saturday the 2nd of November.

As usual at IKC, some Club Rounds may use alternative track configurations and some rounds will be random gird format, whilst some may be all classes qualify.

The Feature Classes at each Club Round will of course qualify and will have extra laps for their Heats and Final.
