What can I say about this great club? It was another cracker of a night for round 10 of the Ipswich City Dirt Kart Club Championship with 96 entries.
The drivers definitely put on a show for everyone to see – the Features were spectacular!
I even had a blast in our “celebrity” race. Myself and fellow Karting Australia photographer & videographer Leisha Gaudry had what was meant to be an 8-lap race lined up. Well, we started the first attempt and unfortunately my kart dropped a chain. After I quickly swapped karts so we could have another go, I got a great start and Leisha was beginning to line up a move to pass me on lap two when her chain came off! We have both agreed – there WILL be a rematch!
Next event at the track is this coming Saturday (October 21) followed by a mid-week Test-n-Tune on Wednesday the 1st of November. Round 11 of the Club Championship is on November 4.
