Fireworks at Bob Gartside Race Day

The Stanbroke 2023 Bob Gartside Raceday at Ipswich City Dirt Kart Club is over for another year. It was a spectacular day and night of racing, 146 entries making it another huge event on the dirt.

Teresa Harding, the Mayor of Ipswich, opened proceedings.
Sprint car, Formula 500, Amcar and even a tractor pull were all on display
They let all sort of kids sit in the race cars! Sprintcar drivers Karl Hoffmans and Harry Dixon attended to sign autographs and let the kids climb in Harry’s car. Brock Hughes did the same for the kids with his Formula 500, as did Maverick & Dallas Dack with the Amcar.

After an action packed day & night of racing it was finished off with fireworks and then the famous Dash-4-Cash one lap shoot out, won by none other than junior driver Ryan Reid.

Next event is a mid-week Test-n-Tune on Wednesday August 2, followed by Round 7 of the 4-Stroke & 2-Stroke Club Championship on Saturday August 5.
