Jess Golding Motorsport (JGM) has officially launched its new “Mini Team” to provide support for club racers at Ipswich Kart Club Championship Rounds. The JGM Mini Team consists of six drivers per club championship round and is available to any driver in need of support and mechanical assistance during race weekends.
“Our Mini Team is designed to bridge the gap and provide those drivers with the support they need to compete with confidence in a supportive team environment,” said Jess Golding. “I have often seen new club racers arrive at a club day, pit by themselves and not really know what to do, so we created the mini team, and it has proved very popular.”
For a fee of $150, drivers can register to join the Mini Team for a day of support at Ipswich Kart Club events. The fee covers the cost of hiring the mechanics, making it easy and affordable for drivers to get the assistance needed to perform at their best.
“Think of it like purchasing insurance,” said Mark Brogan, one of the privateers who benefited from the team’s support at Round 2. “Just being able to bounce ideas off people, and knowing that if something bad happened, I wouldn’t need to stress about it because there would be people to help me really took the pressure off so I could enjoy the day of racing.”
“We came in with crash damage after heat 1 and about 5 people rushed over to help us get back out for Heat 2,” Steve Doyle said. “Without the support of the mini team, we could not have got back out on track. It would have taken us too long to fix the damage.”

“The team atmosphere was great. Everyone was wearing the team t-shirts, there was a BBQ lunch, and we were able to ask lots of questions. We walked away with our best result to date, so we couldn’t be happier.” Blake Rem added.
