Tony Kart Reveal 2023 Drivers & Races

Tony Kart PR

The official sporting programme for the new season has been completed, with 20 drivers lined up in the MINI, OKJ, OK and KZ/KZ2 categories, in the main international competitions.

We are just a few weeks away from the start of a new and intense international racing season. Our Tony Kart Racing Team is ready for the 2023 challenge, with the aim of repeating the successes it is used to achieve and that in the last few years became true with the victory of the FIA Karting World Championship in OKJ, in 2022, and the double success in KZ and OK classes, in 2021.

Our team has to face this year a calendar full of appointments, set up on the traditional races promoted by the FIA KartingRGMMC and WSK Promotion. An intense sporting programme that, obviously, will be faced counting on the reliability of our Tony Kart Racer 401 RR (for KZ/KZ2, OK and OKJ categories) and Tony Kart Rookie (for the MINI), powered by the Vortex engines, the OTK Kart Group’s Engine Division.

In KZ/KZ2, our sporting department will be led by Noah Milell, already World Champion in 2021, joined – as in last year’s races – by Tom Leuillet, European KZ2 Champion in force. Confirmed are also the Luyet brothers, Jean and Samuel, as well as the young Norton Andreasson, in his second full season in the shifter class.

In OK, the vice-champion of the Champions of the Future Euro Series Luigi Coluccio will again find James Egozi and Jakub Rajski at his side. Jan Przyrowski, already winner of the OKJ title in the WSK Euro Series and third classified at the FIA Karting World Championship, will this year face his first full season in the Senior category. After having competed a few rounds in 2022 in our official colours, Sebastiano Pavan will be part of our full-time racing team, together with new-entry Arthur Poulain. Finally, Zoe Florescu Potolea joins our team as part of the Junior Girls on Track – Rising Stars programme, in collaboration with the FIA Women in Motorsport Commission and Ferrari Driver Academy.

In OKJAlp Hasan Aksoy is getting ready to defend our colours for the second year, together with two new entries: Kirill Dzitiev, WSK Super Master Series vice-champion in force, and the Davide Bottaro – Scott Kin Lindblom duo, who both switched to the Junior class in the second half of the 2022 season.

More drivers lined up by our Racing Team in the MINILudovico Mazzola, already with the team last year in the last events of the season, will be employed full-time for 2023, together with Ilie Tristan CrisanSebastian Eskandari-Marandi and Andrea Manni.
