Karting Australia Offer Rotax Grand Final Seats!

In a dramatic turn of events, Karting Australia is now offering seats in the 2022 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals!

The move comes as a bit of a kick in the teeth for those who had contested the Australian Rotax MAX Challenge (Pro Tour) this year. Just last month, RaceMax (the series promoter) had announced a nine-driver ‘Team Australia’ for the world final, made up of competitors who had participated in its Karting NSW sanctioned race meetings.

However, it appears the political goal posts have moved. KA is now offering these seats following “an agreement between Karting Australia, BRP Rotax and FIA Karting.”

By the time this agreement had been announced, Karting Australia has given interested competitors just two days to file an application.

KA’s press release is below.
