The event that was shaping up to be the largest dirt kart meeting ever held in Australia has now been postponed.
Mother Nature has put the dampener on the AIDKA Australian Titles that was to have been held at Tatiara Karting Club (Border Town, SA) on October 1 and 2.
“It (is) with regret that Tatiara Karting Club in conjunction with the AIDKA Executive have made the decision to postpone the running of the 2022 Australian Titles” the organisations stated.
“The rain received in recent weeks has made it impossible to safely proceed.
“This is not a decision that has been made lightly and has been done so with the best interest of the sport, competitors and event at heart.”
Information regarding the rescheduled date and competitor refunds for those who can’t make it will be announced in due course.
522 nominations had been received across the 12 classes.
“Whilst we understand everyone will be disappointed, we ask that you be respectful.”
