Winner Williams at F100 Toowoomba

from Kev The Noise Davies

Nineteen Formula 100s hit the track at Toowoomba on Saturday, Chris Williams eventually winning the day (in fact, he won every race!) and collecting the $500 prize put up by RKA’s Vas Filips. Evan Brannock came home second with Joel Allingham third.

“Such a great day of action which started out with drivers struggling to find grip and many changing settings to attain the best set up” the Noise reported.

“Right from the start it was obvious that Chris Williams was the man to beat. The very pacey Alan Gurr unfortunately came unstuck in the prefinal when Russell Vellacott’s engine seizure gave Alan no where to go, resulting in a collision that made the #19 kart unrepairable in time for the final.

“Evan Brannock & Joel Allingham had a great battle for the podium. Shane Kinzett & Damien Assallit were not far off the pace, both putting in excellent drives.”
