BRP-Rotax together with EIKO Motorsport, the Rotax authorized distributor for the territories JAPAN, TAIWAN, CHINA, SINGAPORE, INDONESIA, BRUNEI, VIETNAM, CAMBODIA, LAOS, HONGKONG, MACAU and PHILIPPINES would like to inform that they have decided to hand-over the distributorship for the territory of Philippines, effective May 1st, 2022.
The subsequent transfer of the business and the network to the new partner has been agreed and BRP-Rotax is pleased to inform that Sunstate Machinery Corporation will be the new partner for Philippines. The continued growth in the region is a result of all Rotax Karting partners in the Asian market that are committed to working together to further develop the region and this new add-on to Rotax network will support this development.
Sunstate Machinery Corporation is responsible for the Philippines territory from May 1st, 2022 onwards. All RMC racing activities, orders and aftersales will be conducted from Sunstate Machinery Corporation from this point.
Sunstate Machinery Corporation is headed by its Chairman Mr. Rainer Te, who is fully dedicated to further develop the Philippines karting market together with BRP-Rotax. Sunstate, in cooperation with the Philippine International Karting Association (PIKA), has planned RMC race weekends from May to November 2022. This series will be part of the Philippine National Karting championship as well as the Asian Karting Open Championship rounds for 2022.
