An electric Junior class has been added to the list of categories for the 2022 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals. BRP-Rotax confirmed the Project E20 Junior news in its annual announcement of the chassis partners for the various classes.
The Senior E20 class made it’s debut in 2021. Like the Senior class, E20 Junior will use chassis supplied by Sodikart.
The full class and chassis supplier list is:
- BirelART: Micro MAX and DD2
- IPKarting (Praga): Mini MAX and DD2 Masters
- Sodikart: Senior MAX, Junior MAX, E20 Senior and E20 Junior
The Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals take place this year in Portimão, Portugal from November 19 to 26. It will be the fourth time the Kartodromo Internacional Algarve will have hosted the event.
400 drivers from all over the world, qualified via the various Rotax MAX Challenge and E-Kart Championships, will meet for the annual showdown which is the highlight of the Rotax karting season.
