Noisy Warwick Double

from Kev ‘The Noise’ Davies

Last weekend had it all, from roll overs to duck racing, and some cool drone photography while everyone slept.

The 2022 Project-X Noisy Tour kicked off last weekend at Warwick kart club with 240 entries over the two days.

First of all on Saturday it was championship round 2 for Warwick Kart Club and 101 entries competed in the day’s racing. Some fabulous action can be seen on the Kev ‘The Noise’ Davies YouTube page, but the highlight for those along the back straight and into Better Bends corner was surely the first aid ladies Marnie O鈥橬eil & her assistant chasing ducks off the circuit!

Duck off!

That was the warm up for the Sunday race day which was Warwick Kart Club’s championship round 3 and doubled up as Round 1 of the Noisy Tour. 139 entries competed with 13 of them in the Open Performance class (the Loose Units) which was spectacular!

A roll over for one of our famous (mammoths) TaG Restricted Heavy class drivers didn鈥檛 dampen proceedings as he (Paul Willmott) was able to walk about unscathed. Brenden-with-an-E Gough took out the win in that class.

Paul Willmott’s rollover, thankfully he’s ok.
Great sportsmanship from Tim Baker & Sam Greenhalgh to help out immediately

Leorra Devisser managed a fabulous win against the boys in Open Performance, while Ryan Uhlmann was victorious in the Midgets (TaG Restricted Light). The Sumo鈥檚 class (TaG Heavy) was dominated on Saturday by The Stig (Nick Hobbs) but on Sunday it was all about Brock Plumb who won two of the heats and the final.

In the famous Old Buggers class (TaG Restricted Masters) it was victory and a 50th birthday for Novax Neman, while in The Pie Eaters (TaG Restricted Medium) Jayden O鈥橠ea took victory both days.
