Aussies Make RoK SuperFinal

Australian karters Alex Ninovic and William Calleja both contested the 2021 Vortex RoK Superfinal at Lonato, Italy, on the weekend.

Both encountered massive numbers, moved forward in their heat races and made the Finals of their respective classes.

Junior podium, RoK Cup SuperFinal at Lonato

Alex Ninovic contested Junior RoK with the PCR Factory Team. After qualifying 42nd (in a field of 80), he moved up the rankings to 29th after heat results of 11, 26, 7 and 13. Alex moved up further in the final, eventually finishing 19th.

William Calleja raced with the Parolin Poland team in Mini RoK. In a massive field of 103 drivers, Calleja qualified 33rd. The field was split in two for the heat racing, Calleja’s strong results of 4, 4 and 3 ranking him 6th in his division. Starting 11th for the 12-lap final, he finished a credible 13th.
