AIDKA To Resume Racing in SA

AIDKA racers in South Australia are set to go back racing. The organisation posted a Covid update for SA informing its clubs that “as of 12.01am Thursday 5th August 2021 we are able to resume racing.”

There are a number of conditions attached to the resumption:

  • Masks are to be worn by all people on premises including drivers, crews, spectators, officials and volunteers (unless required to remove to communicate or whilst you are racing only)
  • Updated Covid Safe plan requirements must be met
  • Covid Contract Tracing is essential
  • Covid Marshals still required as per club’s Covid Safe Plan
  • Social Distancing of 1.5metres and limit of 1 person per 2 square metres applies
  • Total number of people on premises is 1000 (excluding officials and volunteers)
  • All food and beverage consumption must be done seated

“Enjoy your weekend of racing, respect these conditions. Also respect Officials and Marshals if you are approached to comply with the listed directions.

“We are doing this so you can all race again in SA. We will update these restrictions as they are changed in the future.”
