Rotax Pro Tour Round 1 wrap – It was a reinvigorated Praga team for the first round of Pro Tour where we had seven drivers across three classes.
Junior Max had five of our young guns entered – Alex Stephan, Christian Estasy, Oliver Estasy, Braith Santin and Kaden Thompson all drove exceptionally well with some great results over the three days.
Congratulations to Christian Estasy who came home with 2nd. Four of our five finished the Final in the top 10, well done boys, excellent effort by all.
The tough Senior MAX class saw our Pro Tour Rookie Brent McIntosh achieve some PB’s throughout the three days of practice and racing. We struggled all weekend with kart set up for Brent, but he dug deep and pushed hard in every race, focusing on getting the best we could out of the kart. Brent raced hard in the final and although the results were not there for him, he never gave up. Congratulations Brent.
The DD2 class had our Praga Ambassador start strong with Pole position and then 2 heat wins and pre-final win until the final when due to a mechanical issue he was forced to retire. To say this is a sport of ups and downs is an understatement. Congratulations Jonathon you drove amazing all weekend. He will be back to fight another day.
The next round is in Coffs Harbour in 31 days – but who is counting…
