Gippsland’s March Races

March club day racing for the Gippsland Go Kart Club saw a couple of extra new karters participate in their first ever race day.

Jordie Bantick, son of Michael and grandson of Tony from Precision Karting, made his debut in Cadet 9 and ended the day top point scorer over Jett O’Leary.

In Seniors, Andew Wynn had purchased Nathan Higginson’s Sera Kart and competed in KA3 Senior Light. By the end of the meeting, Wynn was turning laps just a few tenths off his nearest rival.

Taking to the track were categories for Cadets, Juniors (two groups), KA3 Senior and Vic Combined, racing three 10-lap heats and a 15-lap final.
