Gurr Dominates Qld F100 Opener

Round 1 of the Queensland F100 Championship was run at Ipswich Kart Club today, and what a start to the season for the #19 Tony Kart driver Alan Gurr – he was in a class of his own today!

The #33 of Evan Branock finished second but just couldn’t match the pace of Gurr. Peter Richard had another tussle with Andy Farlow, eventually getting past him to take P3.

Alan Gurr was undefeated in F100 round 1 at Ipswich

Farlow in fourth managed to stay ahead by four seconds of the newest F100 driver, Ryan Beattie.

Shane Kinzett struggled with the kart a little in the final to finish 6th ahead of 7th place finisher Adam Bilsson. Unfortunately, Joel Allingham suffered his 3rd mechanical DNF in four races and Chris Williams didn’t start the final.
