Organisers of the Rotax Pro Tour will respond to the recent statement from Karting Australia that Pro Tour competitors would not be able to qualify for the Grand Finals.
“There will be a formal announcement in reply early next week” Rotax Pro Tour posted to social media today.
“Rotax and RaceMax and ProTour stand by the announcement of the 2021 ProTour and can only reiterate, that Rotax determine whom they invite to participate at the RMCGF.
“There are 9 invitations available to Australian drivers for the 2021 event.
“We would urge everyone to get their preparations underway as the events will proceed as announced.

“We understand drivers have a choice and those that wish to participate in these events will do so, those that have no interest simply will not.”
