Dalby Done Till ’21

by Kev ‘The Noise’ Davies

Such a great race day yet again at Dalby where over 50 karters were greeted by temperatures above 40 degrees!

At presentation, trophies were handed out for the winners on the day, the winners of The Noise Summer Series & the Championship Winners.

All winners did really well to get on the podium after a very big season which saw record numbers of new drivers at the track.

Highlights from this round of racing are the battles between Prince Albert, Fast Freddie & Wayne Gilby. Also, a big highlight of the evening racing was the battle between Terry Graham, Troy Kubecek & Carl Solomon.

The Juniors & Teenagers classes didn’t disappoint once more with Lucas & Isaac Bleisner starring in battles.  Comer A, Fours Bangers & Beginners also had some fabulous action.

During the day the fabulous catering team assisted by Dalby’s Gwenda Carroll were on hand to provide a fabulous steak lunch then for Christmas dinner, pig on a spit with all the trimmings! What a feast it was!!

Four heats and a final was how the day panned out, getting practice and three heats before dinner and the remainder into the night after dinner.

Well done to all the committee, members & volunteers at the club, it was a fabulous year and to top it off on the last meeting the brand new speaker system was rolled out and didn’t it work fabulously!

That brings Dalby Kart Club’s 2020 season to a close. 2021 could be huge.
