There will be an official Alonso Kart race team competing on the international karting circuit in 2021.
Kart Republic, which has taken over production of the Alonso brand, said the new team is preparing to compete in next years entire calendar of WSK, COFT and FIA Karting events.
“I am very happy and proud to have started this collaboration with Fernando!” exclaimed KR’s Dino Chiesa.

“The production of this new chassis by KR represents an opportunity to further increase our technical sector and develop new talents.”
The new Alonso Kart team “will be lining up a new racing facility to complement the existing ones”. The driver line-up has yet to be announced.
In Australia, the 2021 Alonso Kart is distributed by Tom Williamson Motorsport.
