Hugh Barter Wins Richard Mille Shootout!

Melbourne karter Hugh Barter has taken out the 2020 Richard Mille Young Talent Academy Shootout. The win means he gets a full season in the 2021 FIA French Formula 4 championship.

The two-day shootout took place at Le Mans and came down to three finalists; Hugh Barter (AUS), Albin Karlsson (SWE) and Craig Tanic (FRA).

The ten drivers who participated were selected by their respective Birel ART distributors or by the Birel ART Racing Team.

“I couldn’t be happier for this kid” said Michael Patrizi of the 15-year olds achievement. “He puts in as much away from the track as he does on the track.”
