The factory Kart Republic karts at the KZ World Championship this weekend feature an extra lever and button on the gearstick – but it’s got nothing to do with shifting gears.

KR’s Dino Chiesa explains in the video below, this new feature they’re experimenting with allows the driver to make a brake balance adjustment by pulling the extra lever. Pressing the release button on the end of the shift stick returns the balance back to the setting it was prior.
