Griffin Peebles enjoyed a fantastic qualifying session to take pole in the Mini class at Lonato last weekend for the 30th annual Trofeo D’Autunno.
While not able to convert pole to a win, Griffin finished second and third in the heats to line up 4th for the final.
A poor second lap saw him drop through the field, but he recovered to cross the line 5th, setting fastest lap on the way. Unfortunately, a bumper penalty dropped him to 12th in the standings.
“Will put the disappointment behind me and we look forward to next weekend’s race in Siena” he posted on Facebook.
“Big thanks to AV Racing and MA Engines for the excellent materials this weekend and I will keep pushing for improvement.”
