Snow Can’t Stop Clubman Cup and Phil Goss Memorial

from Stuart Lee, LKC

What a week it has been at the Launceston Kart Club, from 5 inches of snow falling on Tuesday night to a great Sunday race day.

The track and club was completely covered in snow up until Friday morning when the temperature finally rose into double figures and allowed the snow to melt, however there were still a few spots around the track on Sunday.

On track, the action was first class with the feature being the three KA3 divisions of KA3 Junior, KA3 Senior Light and KA3 Senior Medium.

The Clubman Cup was first ran in 1997 and has seen the best in Tasmania via for a covered Cup each year. 2020 was no different with 15 drivers in the light class and 13 in the medium.
