Karting Closed in Victoria

Karting in Victoria has once again been shut down due to Covid-19.

The Victorian State Government has put Greater Melbourne into Stage 4 lockdown, and regional Victoria to Stage 3.

In line with these changes, Karting Victoria has cancelled all previously issued race and practice permits.

“As a Victorian, it’s a bit embarrassing when your state isn’t doing a particularly good job at containing transmission” said KartSportNews’ Mark Wicks.

“It’s understandable why the other states want to keep their borders closed. We have a small number of people who are either ignorantly irresponsible or just plain ill-informed.

“Hopefully this time they, like everyone else, can do the right thing for six weeks.”
