Enduros & F100s at Warwick

by Kev ‘The Noise’ Davies

Well there’s not much I can say after that! What a bloody cracker of a weekend!!

Thanks once again to the SEK Qld family for welcoming me back with open arms & earplugs for round 4 of SEK Qld at Sandy Creek Raceway, Warwick.

Massive thankyou to all whom attended. This round featured our Twin Honda Endurance karts as always and they were supported by the ever entertaining F100s along with both Senior & Junior 4-stroke singles.

JLA Racing won the Twin Honda Maxx class plus outright honours in the Senior enduro at Warwick

All classes provided some brilliant racing right to the last lap that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Some of the racers probably weren’t quite expecting what unfolded and I’m glad so many enjoyed the NOISE experience. There were still one or two that were camera shy which never surprises me.

First of all thanks to Simon Ham & his committee for inviting me along with Alan Gurr from the F100 crew. A massive thanks to Beth Stebbings & Craig Nissen, as well Vance Le Garde, his gorgeous wife Shell & Mark Keilar and Phil Talbot for running the show! It was smooooth…

Thanks to big Phil Mc Cracklin in the canteen – kept everyone fed n watered, legend. And Warwick Kart Club once again presented perfectly for what was the best F100s could throw at us & Enduros as well as single engines and 4-bangers that didn’t disappoint.

The 6-hour enduro I managed to condense to a bit over 2 hours of pure rumble! (below).

See you all for the next round at Cooloola on 22-23 August 2020 (round details coming soon).
