Karting Australia has announced June 12 is the earliest any post-lockdown competition under its watch can take place.
State Government regulations now allow competitive events to take place in WA, SA, QLD and NT.
However, Karting Australia will not issue permits for race events until June 12, and then only if the host club has checked all the boxes to be COVID-safe compliant.
NSW is still a delicate issue. Karting Australia and Karting NSW have different interpretation of the state’s restrictions. KNSW is running race meets (and have been check and approved by the police to do so) while KA is awaiting further clarification from NSW Health.
