The WKA is another karting body that’s firing up yet another eSeries for karters to contest. However, the top three placegetters in each race will win karting product, ranging from chains and spark plugs, to lubricants and cleaners.
World Karting Association’s “A-Maxx Racing WKA eSports Series Presented by Summit Racing Equipment” goes green on April 27 with a five-race series via the popular iRacing platform and pilot a Skip Barber F2000 car on familiar WKA road racecourses.
Races take place at 8:00pm (local time) each Monday evening and run through to May 25.
“WKA has been looking into eSports for a while, and this short break we have all had from racing gave everyone a little more motivation to accelerate the efforts to get something going,” explained Kevin Williams.
“We didn’t want to re-invent the wheel, but merely provide a platform for WKA racers to keep their skills sharp in a friendly, competitive environment, with real prizes.”
