Open Night Meeting Closes Whyalla’s Year

by Danny Jones

Whyalla Kart Club’s last meeting for the year was held under lights last month with four heats and a final giving everyone plenty of track time.

Night racing always helps to make these meeting a little bit special with the cooler weather changing track conditions.

Worth travelling to Whyalla City if you have not experienced it before. Next year there will be plenty of opportunities.

Rhys Bartlett made the trip and pushed local driver Brayden Stewart in every heat and winning the final but only managed second on points.

Cadets combined and Lucinda pushed her brother Jarvis all night.

Seniors combined to form the largest grid with Dylan Hewson taking out the TaG Restricted Lights, Ashlyn Clift took out KA3 and Danny Jones won the TAG championship weight.
