Whyalla Updates: Racing, Promos & Title Shakedown

July has been a good month for Whyalla Karting as sponsors are coming forward for the upcoming Whyalla City Titles. Thanks to all the businesses that have jumped on board. There is still opportunity to have your business advertised at what is a state event.

Club members had a stall at the local Tanderra Craft Village promoting Go Karting and the local club. Thanks to all the club members that were involved.

This month’s race day was on the first of the month and all the drivers enjoyed the day. With rain threatening in the morning, it cleared and turned out to be a perfect day for quick lap times. Results are listed below.

The club also run the Bring-a-Mate program and used the club’s karts. It is always good to see newcomers hit the track.

The 3rd of August – Open Club Day is the last chance to get in a shakedown before the Whyalla City Titles.

The titles are coming up fast, so if you haven’t had a chance to race at this classic country track, then the meet on the 25th August will make it worth your while, as we should see some good fields for both drivers and spectators.
