Well, what a race day run by the fabulous Scott Howard, Robbo Robinson, Steve Peacock, Donna Cowie and her army of green volunteers and all the fabulous officials, stewards and helpers at Ipswich on Saturday the 24th of March.
The day was named the Dash for Cash and had three feature classes – Cadet 12, KA4 Junior & TaG Light. It was also memorable as it was one of our favourite racer’s – #55 Craig Holmwood’s – last event in Australia before he and partner, the lovely Korrin Barrett, relocate to New Zealand.
Bouncy castle was on site all day for the kids, canteen was blazing away all day and close to 160 drivers entered the meeting chasing a piece of over $15,000 worth of cash prizes, random draw prizes & apparel.
Every class was hotly contested and below you will find interviews, fun photos, and every race as it happened courtesy of the Kev “The Noise” Davies.
Former V8 and Porsche Carrera Cup driver Michael Patrizi had a blast in the 4SS Seniors And current Dunlop Super 2 Series driver Tyler Greenbury had a run in TaG Light (and features in the interviews).
Special mentions to Jace Mathews who won the feature class for TaG Light, Blake “The Rocket” Locket who won the feature class KA4 Junior, and Ethan Feather who won the third feature class, Cadet 12s.
