Electric Vehicle Expo at Todd Rd

The suitability of the Melbourne International Karting Complex (Todd Rd, Port Melbourne) to host public events was emphasized on Sunday when the 2018 Melbourne Electric Vehicle Expo was held at the venue.

Organisers say it was largest and most diverse collection of electric vehicles and related technology in Australia. It had private and commercial vehicles on display, some of which were able to be test driven by the public.

This was not the first time the venue has been used for non-karting activities. It has previously hosted product launches, vehicle demonstrations and driver training.
