Birel ART is proud to have once again been selected by BRP-Rotax as supplier of the chassis in two categories for the 2017 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals which will take place from November 4th to 11th at the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve of Portimao, Portugal.
During the five previous experiences, the Birel ART chassis and the performance of the Italian team during the big Rotax world meeting have been widely appreciated by the competitors.
“The Rotax Grand Final gives us the opportunity to highlight the extent of our know-how,” says Birel ART President Ronni Sala.
“The production capacity of the Birel ART factory allows us to ensure top quality for the 110 complete karts that we will provide this year for Mini Max and DD2. This is a great opportunity to showcase our chassis in race conditions to drivers from all over the world who do not necessarily have experience of driving a Birel ART. The feedback from the competitors has always been very positive for us in this large-scale test which is an important part of our commercial strategy.”
Since 2011 the technical and logistical challenge of the Rotax Grand Final has been mastered perfectly by the Italian factory. As last year at Sarno, Birel ART will supply the chassis and related services for the 36 Mini Max and the 72 DD2. Due to the age change initiated by the CIK-FIA at the beginning of the year, the Mini Max drivers will be between 11 and 13 years old in the 2017 Final and will now be driving Birel ART 1040 mm chassis which will make their performances even more impressive.
Birel ART will be very happy to host its customers, loyal or potential, in its showroom to present a preview of the 2018 product range.
A dozen people will be mobilised throughout the event to ensure the assembly of karts and service to drivers. Two trailers and 56 pallets were needed to transport the karts to Portugal, while an additional trailer is reserved for spare parts.
