by Russell Innes, IKC

With the TAG Restricted classes as the Feature Classes for the next Ipswich Kart Club Championship Round on Saturday the 6th April, 190 entries have already been received with several classes once again already at capacity.

TAG Restricted Light, TAG Restricted Medium and TAG Restricted Masters will be the Feature Classes on 6th April and with all 3 classes also being contested at this years Queensland Kart Championships at Ipswich in late June, these 3 classes are attracting big fields with many travelling from across the state and also Northern NSW to get some race practice in at IKC.

In TAG Restricted Light, Jack Munro has been very hard to beat at Ipswich over the last 12 months and the current State Champion will be aiming to record another victory, but Riley Van Den Broek, Nathaniel Harrison, Max Acquasanta and Robert Mortensen will all be trying hard to get a win over him.

Zac King has been the man to beat in TAG Restricted Medium so far this year and his main challenges will come from Alan Czislowski, Trent Harders, Matthew Goddard, Jordi Marcon and Bradley Cox.

Gavin Soward has been in hot form in TAG Restricted Masters and his main competition will come from Allan Mayes, Aaron Rabjones, Evan Broughton, Gav Whitmore and Phil Smith.

All classes will be contesting 3 Heats and a Final with the Feature Classes starting the day with qualifying whilst all other classes will run the Random Grid format.
