What a fabulous day of racing once again with Auskart Racing at the Lakeside circuit. Over 90 racers attended yet again in this 4-stroke only club that just keeps growing.
We had one hell of a race day! Not even the steaming hot conditions could slow the racers down – hectic is an understatement! There were great battles on track, close racing all day and memorable performances from juniors & seniors alike.
The lap count for some of the classes was massive, Seniors and Juniors doing 55-lap features to finish off the day having earlier contested 40-lappers. Bambino and Cadets did 8 and 10 laps respectively.
Georgie Yeadon continued her good form. The weekend prior she was crowned 4SS Junior Club Champion at the Ipswich Kart Club before taking a faultless clean sweep at Lakeside (interview below with The Noise).
Next event is championship round 6 on November 13.
