Green Light for Junior Top Guns

The second resurfacing of the Oakleigh Kart Club’s circuit is now complete and (hopefully!) cured to enable the delayed Junior Top Guns meeting to take place in a weeks time.

The circuit was extended late last year, however parts of the surface began to break up before any racing could take place, leading to the postponement of Junior Top Guns which traditionally takes place in the January school holidays.

For this year, Junior Top Guns will take place during daytime hours on May 21 and 22. There will be two days of racing, with each day comprising qualifying, two heats of 12 laps and a final of 14 laps. Podium presentation will take place on each day and there will also be a combined result for prizes and trophies down to 5th place.
