Three Aussies at OK & J World Championship

Three Australians are on the entry list for the 2021 FIA Karting World Championship for OK and OK Junior in Spain later this month, and two of them are officially with an ‘Australian’ team.

Jesse Lacey and Bradley Majman will both compete with Shane Wharton’s Shamick Europe operation aboard Parolin chassis, Lacey in OK (using IAME engines) and Majman in Juniors (using TM). Shamick Europe will also run Danish driver Louis Leveau in Junior.

Italy-based Aussie Griffin Peebles will also line up in Junior, but has now moved to the Finnish Koski Motorsport team which runs Tony Kart/Vortex equipment.

Despite the pandemic, 44 countries are represented in the 185-strong entry – 109 in Junior and 76 in OK.
